The Pleasant Modern Atmosphere In The New Albert Premier Hut

The hut is reached in a C. 2 hour walk from the top of the Tete de Balme chairlift accessed from the ski car park at Le Tour. If the lift is shut the extra walk adds another hour or so and care is required early season when steep snow can remain on, above and below the path.

Ice Climbing Training On The Tour Glacier Below The Albert Premier Hut

This is an excellent venue for training cramponing, mountaineering, glacier travel & ice climbing skills especially later in the summer when the snow on the glacier below the hut has melted leaving the exposed ice to train on.
