Migot Spur, 500m, AD+, IV, Aiguille du Chardonnet

The Brilliant Aiguille du Chardonnet North Face

With the Forbes Arete as the L Hand bounding skyline, The Migot Spur takes the narrow central glacier bay and leads out left on to the central Spur, with the Escarra & Charlet Bettembourg lines on the right side of the face.

Just After Dawn on the Central Spur Itself

Some good snowy / icy mixed climbing here leads to the upper snow fields. We climbed a runnel right of the more obvious one today as there was a team already on that line & this gave some fun, well protected & steeper icy mixed climbing.
