Superb Steep & Scenic Skiing Under the Crags Of Brevent, Bellin Couloir

This is a long & sustained ski and the timing needs to be right in spring so that the snow is softened for the steeper upper pitches but not totally ruined by the base of the long descent all the way down to Chamonix. We skied this starting at C. 1100 in mid March in good spring conditions.

The Long Lower Section Of The Bellin Couloir

A brilliant sustained ski with the impressive cliffs of the Brevent towering above. Check the conditions for the lower descent before starting otherwise you may end up with a long grassy walk!

East facing and offering lots of choice of lines, all pretty steep though! This is accessed from the top telecabine at Brevent. The lines on the hard skiers right of the face lead back to the mid station where as most of the rest of the face leads down to the Parsa or Cornu chairlifts.
