Alphubel 4206m

East Face of the Alphubel

The East (right hand) Flank (PD-) provides the normal route and a good ski route to a 4000m peak with amazing views of the Tasch / Dom and rest of the Alps! The ridge above the climber is the SE Ridge (PD) with the 'Eisnase' (ice nose) as the key passage.

The ski approach to the Alphubel from the Tasch Hut

Obergabelhorn, Zinalrothorn & Weisshorn behind.

Summit of the Alphubel

Fantastic views, especially to the South side of the Tasch and Dom. (Mike improvising a harness with a sling!!)
