Summit of The Monch, 4107m

After a rapid ascent of the Voie Normale - South East Ridge. This PD+ climb is fairly short at 500m from the Monchjoch Hut or 600m from the Jungfraujoch station. An ascent from the former is often preferable to give good snow conditions on the descent where the sun can soften the snow early in the morning.
