  • Our classic June & Sept 2024 courses are all now full – please get in touch about either autumn 24 or summer 25
  • Places still available for late Sept & Oct 2024 and summer 2025
  • Get in touch if you would like to be added to our summer 2024 waiting list incase of any cancellations

Our Climb Mont Blanc mountaineering courses are planned around the start and end of the main summer alpine climbing season and also run in to the early autumn.  Although the challenge can be harder at these times of year, we prefer the slightly quieter, cooler, snowier conditions that often exist then.  In addition, the stone fall risk in the Grand Couloir is often much lower then too.

  • Our 6 day courses generally feature a 3 day training and acclimatisation phase, often with another major summit attempt
  • For example you can choose a training climb featuring either the Gran Paradiso, Weissmies or Lagginhorn as well our very early season option & 3 day Mont Blanc training course
  • Our courses generally also feature a rest day between the training and summit periods, allowing you to recuperate, relax and enjoy some low altitude time in Chamonix before heading back in to the high mountains for the summit attempt
  • We also generally climb early in the week and aim to avoid the busy Saturday night in huts and classic later in the week summit schedules.  Combining this with the early and late season ascents often means the mountain & huts are less busy than in high summer

Our series of training weekends in the UK – Snowdonia & The Scottish Highlands are highly recommended and you can check the dates for those below the main Mont Blanc summit courses here:

2024 Climb Mont Blanc Courses – Early & Late Summer Plus Early Autumn

Early Summer

Mont Blanc

Very high on the ascent of the Bosses Ridge – Near the summit of Mont Blanc. Great early season conditions (mid June)

Late Summer

The wonderful upper Bosses Ridge. So close now that the slopes leading up from the Col de la Brenva, 3 Monts Route, now come in to view on the Left. An emotional moment. We. Are. Going. To. Make. It!

Early Autumn – Using The Winter Rooms On Mont Blanc

The last few steps…along the Arete des Bosses…to the summit of Mont Blanc. With the sun getting pretty close to the Western skyline beyond!

2024 Mont Blanc Training Courses

An inspiring range of options here from mid winter in the Cairngorms, spring in the Scottish Highlands and spring and autumn in Snowdonia.  We also have a series of 1-3 day training courses based in Chamonix…Mont Blanc!

Mid winter mountaineering and alpine training in the Northern Cairngorms. Wonderful conditions in Feb 2022

Superb scrambling on the Curved Ridge, Glencoe. We often do the first day on snowy ground on the north face of Ben Nevis and the 2nd day on rocky scrambling ground in Glencoe.
