Whilst Heli Skiing is not allowed in France, Chamonix is infact a good base from where to choose between extensive heli ski operations just over the border in the Italian & Swiss Alps. Courmayeur, La Thuile and Verbier all have an inspiring range of heli accessed terrain of different elevations and aspects to make the most of the prevailing conditions.
