Neil Brodie

Neil is a talented climber, alpinist and experienced International Mountain Guide who is one of a very small group of (2?) British climbers to have become a qualified French UIAGM Guide. Neil is a member of the training staff at the prestigious French National Mountain Training School in Chamonix (ENSA). He is also just a great bloke to be in the mountains with!

Neil’s audacious first ascents have been widely publicised in the climbing media and he has featured on various mountaineering media events as both author and participant including BBC 4’s recent documentary about the Eiger’s North ‘Wall of Death’. He is also an English – French translator and written various articles about the Chamonix Mountain Rescue Service (PGHM).

Neil lives in the Arve Valley (between Chamonix & Geneva) and continues to climb, guide, ski, translate and publish.
